@danie10 Interesting read, and absolutely true, no way self hosting (at our scale) can be “worth it” from a financial perspective
But like every hobby, self hosting has a cost, and in that way, “sparing” subscription prices is an absolute benefit !
All in all, even if we had “saved” all the money we spend in our homelab/selfhosted setup, we would probably not have that money in our pockets right now, it would just be somewhere else 😋
